Christmas | The Christmas Tag

With Christmas only five days away and me having a tonne of Christmas presents still to wrap, I decided what better way to procrastinate than with the good old Christmas tag?

Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

I much prefer synthetic Christmas trees to real ones. I love how full synthetic trees are and the fuller the better!
You’re in a coffee shop, it’s December, what do you pick?
It's got to be between a Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks or an orange hot chocolate from Costa. I've been drinking so much hot chocolate this year! Might as well make the most of being pregnant and indulging whilst I still can right?
Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
We have a red, silver and white colour scheme on our Christmas tree and have done for the past five years. It's just so cosy and Christmassy.
Giving or receiving?
I used to love receiving presents more than giving, but that was before I became a mum. I cannot wait to see George's face on Christmas Day, this year he will understand much more which just adds to the excitement.
To mince pie or not to?
Not to. I'd rather eat all of the chocolate!
What’s your traditional Sunday lunch?
On a normal Sunday it would be chicken, vegetables, roasties, yorkshire puds and swimming in gravy. For Christmas day this year, we're having turkey but on a buffet and not as a traditional sit down meal as we're hosting!
Christmas day fashion.
I used to dress a bit more dressy on Christmas Day, but now it's all about donning an ugly Christmas jumper!
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Baby Please Come Home by Michael Buble is the best Christmas song. Ever.
What’s your favourite Christmas film?
It's between Elf and The Santa Clause Trilogy. I'm yet to watch The Santa Clause this year though, maybe that's what I'll do tonight,
Open presents before or after lunch?
Before lunch of course. Who can wait that long?
Have you done the Christmas tag?
Link me below so I can see your family traditions.

Welcome to Toddlers and Tantrums

I fall in and out of love with blogging on a regular basis, I guess it could be down to the fact I've never really found my niche. I never wanted to have a blog that focused on one particular subject, so I tried fashion, beauty, lifestyle and parent all in one go. Truth is, working full time and being a mum to a toddler leaves me with little time to come up with content meaning my little blog was becoming harder to maintain.

When George entered the world on 10-09-2014 my whole world changed. I became what I feared most, I became a "baby bore." I used to look at these people myself on Facebook and think "wow, how can you talk about your kid so much?" but we just can't help ourselves. Every time your baby wears a brand new, cute and adorable outfit, you want to capture that image and share it with the world. Every time your baby learns to do something new, you want to tell people about it because you are proud. I never really saw myself becoming one of these mothers but we all do it. We want to share the special times with other people and I could definitely talk about George for hours. Sometimes, I even message my mum to tell her about the new things George says or does because it is is exciting.

With George developing into this funny, clever and mischievous toddler, and another baby on the way I wanted to try something new. I have been toying with the idea of Toddlers and Tantrums for a while now and since my maternity leave starts this Friday, I thought of no better time to get stuck in. I must be mad because I'm going to have my hands full as it is come January without trying to make my mark on the internet as well!

So here I am, ready to talk about what life is like with a newborn and a toddler!

Wish me luck!
